Miley Cyrus has been named the #5 woman of the year by MTV News (last year Miley placed at #4). There are many reasons that Miley made the list. She’s had two huge chart topping singles this year, a killer tour, and Miley also had a number one movie! Miley has also had her fair share of controversies this year, but she is only human. And it is not what people say that matters, but how you handle yourself while those things are being said (at least that is what my grandmother always tells me!). No matter what the press says, Miley always seems to hold herself with dignity and a sense of humor (ie: the “Twitter Rap”). I think that Miley should be the Woman of the Year!
