Taylor Lautner will star in the new action movie Cancun, according to THR. This is the first project from the newly established production shingle Taylor shares with his dad, Dan Lautner. The story follows an out-of-place college kid who travels with a girl to Cancun on a break. While there, the girl and her friends are taken hostage by a drug cartel and he is forced to save them. The story is designed to take advantage of Lautner's martial arts skills.
In the meantime, Taylor has been qualified as a fitness instructor/ personal trainer because he is worried about whether a movie career is a secure job or not. A source told The Enquirer: 'His self-esteem shot through the roof when he bulked up for 'New Moon' and he wants other people to experience that feeling.. He wants to open up his own workout centre one day.' Taylor reportedly took up personal trainer courses online for $200 and finished them on November 22.
