Ryan Seacrest told MTV that Justin Bieber would be a good person to take over the Simon Cowell's judging position on American Idol next season. On Wango Tango atmosphere: 'The vibe is 'Where's Justin Bieber?', that's the vibe. All the girls that are hanging out here, even the ones that work for us, are like, 'Have you seen him?' I'm like, 'I'm right here.' And they're like, 'No, Justin Bieber him.''
On Simon leaving American Idol: 'It's gonna be different because there's going to be an empty chair at the end of that panel. I'm not quite sure who's going into that chair, so it's a big [decision]. Who would I want in that chair? I would want a much younger, thinner, more charming Simon. ..Bieber, he's the guy!'
