Jonas Brothers LOSING Their Fanbase?

JONAS is only allowed one kiss per season and the Jonas Brothers are losing their solid fanbase, according to Disney’s internal market research obtained byThe Daily Beast. Kids also think the Jonas Brothers are 'dorky'.

Just two years ago, the Jonas Brothers were being compared to the Beatles. In the past year they’ve struck out with album sales and starred in both a ratings-challenged TV show and a failed 3-D concert movie. A little girl told Disney's marketing team: 'If you went to school with a JB backpack, other people might think you’re dorky.'

According to interviews, Jonas Brothers are fast losing the very fanbase that propelled them to the heights of stardom. Very young girls, aged 8 and 9 still love them, but 9 and 10 year olds are more mixed: 'All said they had friends who were ‘obsessed’ with the JBs. Some would be embarrassed to talk about the JBs with other friends.'

12 and 13 year olds said they were less interested in the Jonas Brothers than they had been six months earlier: 'The Jonas Brothers aren’t ‘in’ as much anymore.. I became less of a fan when Twilight came out, and now I’m more into Taylor Lautner.'

In JONAS LA to deal with the fact that Kevin is married and thus not available, his love interest on the show is his car. The privileged, and very sexy, reality of the Jonases’ actual lives also made them hard to sell as ordinary kids who just happened to have hidden talents, like Hannah Montana. Full article HERE.
