Zac Efron NEW YEAR'S EVE Role

Newly single Zac Efron will join the cast of New Year's Eve with Sarah Jessica Parker, Halle Berry, Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ashton Kutcher, Abigail Breslin & Lea Michele, reports THR. Filming starts Feb. 1 in New York.

The movie tells intertwining stories of a group of New Yorkers as they navigate their way through bittersweet drama and romance over the course of New Year's Eve. Zac will play a bike messenger who ends up trying to fulfill Pfeiffer’s New Year’s Eve resolutions in exchange for tickets to a big party.
